The 2011 UKCGE Winter Conference will focus on the impact that the current financial climate and the recent government spending review, will have on postgraduate provison for UK HEIs.
In plenary sessions Sir Alan Langlands, Chief Executive of HEFCE, will offer his opinion on the current climate and Professor Sir Drummond Bone will share some of his experiences of previous periods of austerity and how institutions can come through these times. Dr Iain Cameron, RCUK will give a presentation on the Latest Developments in Research Council Practice. Professor Malcolm McCrae & Professor Pam Denicolo, Chair and Vice-Chair of UKCGE, will also offer the Council’s perspectives on the current climate.
